This is what happens when you try and negotiate all the other tariffs, caving and giving into all the nonsense and not fight back. He will continue to use them because these foreign leaders have constantly shown they will eventually cave to them.

Whaat worse is this is what they will use to gauge what a person should get in SNAP benefits per person. Assuming they don’t try and cancel that program because you can eat for less than 3 bucks and don’t need it by their metrics.

So the person just gets a friend or another relative to wire the money. They won’t stop whatever it is they are thinking they are going to stop with this.

This is basically a path for them to threaten corps ability to accept based on their “feelings” they are not following some mandate these admin will be to lazy to have any way to actual prove. No way they are going to keep and dig through thousands of stores data if they have doubled anything.

I don’t think people realize that the “no tax on overtime” only applies to the half portion over 40 hours. Still taxed on the base pay. I have heard people think it’s all completely tax free. And think state taxes follow federal but still have to pay full state. It’s going to be a mess.

Nothing to be outraged about. But he can’t unilaterally change interest rates. Things that could be done (junk fees, late charges, etc) he cancelled because it was a Biden policy.
He would need congress which honestly would be an easy win. But he doesn’t want congress as part of the process.

it’s good to have this official info, but I don’t think we needed it to know this. ICE, CBP, and this admin have made it abundantly clear they are fine with it. So much so they are going to great lengths to protect the agents and tell us that we are the real problem and our fault if it happens to us

Why are they going door to door? These goons have no idea who they are looking for. Just brown people. That’s it. If a citizen answered and didn’t give the right answer they would be swept away and not heard from for months. And their family might have zero idea what happened to them.

The White House doing this is basically making it so that ICE and CBP can kill anyone for any reason and never face consequences. It emboldens them knowing they will be protected by our government.

They both are saying we are going to control the extraction, sales and distribution of funds. Venezuela seems not part of any of their plans outside of the oil being in their country.
