Queer cis-fella and cat dad. I make sounds, draw stuff, write stuff, and probably some other things I'm forgetting. DM on Startplaying. Thotless. So this is actual-Twitter now, right...?
I fear they're being made. Everything about the current administration suggests that blackmail is a favored tactic.

Wait; is “animation historian” an actual job? Because if so, I think it’s what I’d imagine you doing if you ever got tired of being paid well.

Speaking in purse is not a way I’d ever use to describe you.

This one is just terrific. They're often terrific, but I think I really needed some of the reminders here.

I'm just baffled that it got adapted at all. I fear it'll be Red, White, & Royal Blue all over again, missing the charm of the original. (I've read a certain amount of Rachel Reid. I like her work. I don't have HBO currently, so it'll be a bit before I check it out.)

I’m standing here in a store trying to figure out whether the cons of switching to an Android phone outweigh my desire to punish Apple to the tune of a new iPhone purchase.

Hey, I’m a huge fan of caution, especially in abundance. Take it as a sign that the captain is captaining well. It’s the “It’ll probably be fine, I’m sure the passengers won’t notice” approach you gotta watch out for.

I turned off smart stuff a while back. Are we now at the point where it's also wise to unplug, say, my non-smart mic?

Reviewing old LiveJournal posts… shit, it was kinda magic, wasn’t it? Literally changed my life in a variety of ways. Likely never would’ve met you, among other things.

Oh, done been did on most of my devices. I’ve been not-hating it…! However, due to the nature of my day job, I still have to touch Chrome periodically.

My objection isn't that the "feature" (yes, I will keep using scare-quotes) didn't work well, it's that it was shoved into my experience of using my e-mail and calendar without my consent. Using an online platform shouldn't make me feel a sense of violation.

I had to spend a stupid amount of time finding a way to turn the feature off. It required me to go pretty deep into the settings of both Gmail & Google Calendar, so this was the second time today Google had wasted my time with a "feature" I never asked for or enabled.
