I won't defend their hilariously bad negotiating on the shutdown, but I expect that they knew this would be the outcome. The benefit is putting their votes against it on the record, which isn't a ton, but it's not nothing when the Dems need a lot of help to flip the Senate

I think the biggest risk for Nvidia is that some major customer goes under, and their liquidation suddenly frees up the supply constraints on their chips. Given how much order growth is being factored into the stock price, supply increasing and a big source of demand going away could crater that

I personally think that a big part of why Casino Royale is so good is because it's not a Bond movie. It skips most of the Bond stereotypes to instead just tell a good spy story

This is the other one. With fossil fuels, discovery costs rise while tech costs fall, meaning prices stay roughly the same (inflation-adjusted) over time. With electrotech, discovery costs are $0, so the only dynamic is falling tech costs. Victory is inevitable.
