Most of the time, we remain unconscious. Consciousness awakens through us only because we possess an advanced brain, unlike other creatures. This brain acts as an interface, allowing us to engage with the reality we have created for ourselves.

Men were not created in God's image; instead, the idea and concept of God were made in the image of men. God does not have image, race, gender, or other attributes we use to describe ourselves. God is neither good nor bad. It is a vast Divine Presence and Intelligence that we can not comprehend.

Everything starts with me. Yes, everything begins with me. My life - the experiences I encounter, the emotions I feel, the desires and fears that stir within me—all flow from who I am. My beliefs, my actions, and even the way I see the world are like threads I weave into the fabric of my existence.

Last week, I finished reading another great book. During our book club discussion, one of my friends remarked: "I like the book; it has so many brilliant insights, but there were a few places I disagreed with, so I didn't pay attention to them."

Here is a Mt. Shasta with a new coat of snow from the winter storm a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, the weather was too warm, and some snow already melted away. I took this shot two days ago on my way to Oregon.

A few days ago, I received a small brochure from Unity titled "Be Not Afraid. The Comfort of Christmas Advent 2024." It is composed of several dozens of brief articles from Unity ministers and a number of quotes from the Bible.

I had a brief conversation on the subject of death with someone a few days ago. This is one of my favorite topics, but I have noticed that people usually don't want to discuss it, which always surprises me. Death is the one event guaranteed to happen to us all with 100 percent certainty.

Unfortunately, we grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually only when we struggle through challenging situations in life. This world—and the life it gives us—was designed this way. We don't have a choice: the struggle isn't optional.

I just read somewhere that Black Friday breaks sales records. It made me think that there is a struggle to live in poverty, and there is another kind of struggle to live in an overabundant society, where new things are bought not because the old ones got broken

I found that one of the hardest things to do is to live without judgment for others. From an early age, we learn what is right and what is wrong. These lessons shape our core beliefs. When something doesn't align with or directly opposes our beliefs, we experience waves of negative emotions.

I was born and lived the first half of my life in a country where most people didn't feel that they needed to give thanks for the life they lived. There were a number of reasons for that. Life was hard, and even everyday groceries, fruits, and vegetables were difficult to get.

There is no equality when it comes to humans or nature in general. Equality is an abstract mathematical concept, not a reality of life. Instead of measuring ourselves against others, we should embrace each individual's unique strengths and gifts.

This may surprise some readers, but humans' natural state of mind is quiet bliss or happiness. Beneath the noise of daily stress and distractions, this state quietly and patiently awaits us.

Life and death.
Atheistic view. Life starts at birth and ends at the physical death of one's body. The description of the human is simple: the body and mind. Life has no meaning or purpose except personal choice; there are no consequences for one's actions after death.

What is self-love?
Self-love is a feeling of care, appreciation, and gratitude that we experience for ourselves—our body, mind, and emotional state. Self-love is when we take regular actions to maintain a healthy body and a peaceful mind. Self-love is when you choose yourself with equal choice.

Spiritual practice Ho'oponopo is an excellent technique to harmonize space around the practitioner, soften all current and future relationship conflicts, help disconnect from the heartful past, and have a remarkable healing effect when used toward the body of practitioners.

Do you love yourself?
Love is not something we are born with. We need to receive, experience, and develop it in our hearts, and only then can we give it to someone else.

Are you using affirmations daily? I do. Here is the oldie but goodie: "Every day, in every way, I am getting happier and wealthier."
Which one is your favorite?

At some point in our lives, we must ask ourselves: Do we live in a friendly universe? Do not take the answer to this question lightly. Consider it seriously; the answer can not be changed based on your mood or external circumstances.

Our thoughts are nothing by themselves. They are just like clouds in the sky; they come and go. The only meaningful thoughts are those that align with our personal belief structure and trigger our emotions.

I was surprised to see how many of my friends and acquaintances in my spiritual community were upset and devastated by the election results a week and a half ago, so I decided to comment on it from my perspective.
