Among so much negative news - a momentary positive distraction for baseball fans:
It was 64 years ago today Roger Maris hit HR #61, breaking Babe Ruth's "unbreakable" record. (A slightly longer season but no PED allegations.)
And I (and my Dad) were there, ticket stubs:
