Big expectation breaker today and now price under 20 day on $QQQ. Still looks okay on weekly and great on monthly, uptrend still intact. Haven’t taken big enough partials into strength and being loose with stops didn’t help. Back to base hits until stronger short term. #investing #trading

Would love to see higher high higher low on the daily $SPY/$QQQ before getting more involved. Been nice period to reset - tomorrow could kick start it with good CPI. I’m prob more in than should be, ~30%. Want to see those MAs going up, with price above them. Under 50ma (pink) isn’t good. #investing

Reviewing 2023. One takeaway is to decrease the number of trades per month… trade less. Best months from 2023 averaged 19 trades, worst months averaged 34. Part of that is just how it works (winning trades last longer than losing trades, so more trades possible in losing month), (1/3)

Huge daily volume, followed by almost just as high in second day. This looks super strong. Already ~40% up from 186 breakout. Realistic entry was early day one with hold of vwap.. about 217 with low of day stop. 5.5R on that trade already.
