Great question

He is not wrong.

I touched on it in your last post.

Carragher’s self awareness is non existent.

A slightly better than mediocre player has no right to comment as he has about one of the world all-time greats.

That is how I see it too.

I absolutely love your eye for flair Nob.

Looks gorgeous.

I would love to see us play 4-4-2 or 4-3-1-2 with Isak, Gakpo, Mo and Ekitike rotating with meritocracy as the decider. With the ball, Wirtz could roam accordingly.

The outside mids provide the initial width with the fbs over or underlapping.

As it stands, our 9 is so isolated.

We cater to Mo

Yes. For sure.

With the amount of space out wide it seemed like the plan yesterday was ‘clean sheet first’ which I can understand.

When they watch the replay they will surely see that is an area to exploit short term and in the long term with pace (Frimpong, Rio).

Curtis makes a difference to this style in that he will take a touch if it is not on.

There is definitely a time for one touch football… just not every time as default.
December 4, 2025 at 5:30 PM
Yes!

I call it ‘hot potato’ football.

Yesterday Virg had time to take two touches on his clearance but went ‘hot potato’ and gave the ball away.

That was not the middle of the pitch but it happens in the centre circle and down the right flank a lot and suddenly the opposition have numbers.

Me too!

We lost em a long time ago unfortunately.

Just a bunch of stenographer hacks now.

So sad.

Grow up Luke! No, stay young Luke!

Fuh shuh

He was always on much shittier teams, and would not have gotten in our recent top of the world sides.

You would think he would have a wee bit of humility and self recognition, but……nooooo.
December 4, 2025 at 12:29 AM
It’s all narrative and too many of our own believe it.

We have been poor yes, but today we were not great bit we certainly weren’t poor.

Lazy journalism.
December 4, 2025 at 12:22 AM
It can’t hurt. Would like to see him get a run for sure.
December 3, 2025 at 10:53 PM
💯 Simon.

There was much improvement for me too.

It was an incredibly unlucky goal to concede and should not be equated with our usual concessions as of late
December 3, 2025 at 10:48 PM
For me it has always been City when it wasn’t us any longer.
December 3, 2025 at 10:44 PM
This.

This is why our strikers have not put up gaudy numbers for years.

It continues with Isak.
December 3, 2025 at 10:43 PM
How many times out of hundred does that happen?

The literal definition of unlucky.
December 3, 2025 at 9:52 PM
Yah still unlucky has to happen. That was unlucky as unlucky gets
