Mike,
I agree but we need stronger language. The mission is not be undermined. It has been completely twisted and ICE has been turned into a paramilitary oppressive force with no accountability. Start with impeaching the secretary. Show that lawlessness and unconstitutional acts have consequences.

That should go without saying and that was the code we lived by during my 23 years in the Navy. The problem is lack of accountability and leadership that condones the behavior. The fish rots from the head as they say. It’s time to impeach Kristi Noem. Start there.

These jack asses are decked out in more war fighting gear than I had when I was I deployed to Iraq in 2003. For what!? To confront peaceful civilian Americans exercising their 1st amendment rights. Shameful cowards, all of them

This is just plain obscene

Why does this make me think of the Vasa? A Swedish ship built in the 1600’s. The Swedish king overrode the ship builders to make it the biggest and baddest of the day. (Dare I say more aesthetic?) It made it 1500 yards off shore on its maiden voyage, then flipped and sank.

My intern year (1988) H. Flu vaccine was only approved down to 15 months. We saw lots of invasive infections in infants: bacteremia, meningitis, epiglottis and orbital cellulitis. These are bad infections. 2nd year of my residency, the vaccine was approved down to 2 months. Never saw another case.

Bad regulator technique. PADI teaches you to lean to your right and sweep arm down, then out and around back to your chest to recover the lost regulator. You can see it hanging right where the PADI course would predict it would be😊

I dove in the Keramas in the 1990’s. So glad to it is as beautiful now as it was then. A glimmer of hope perhaps that it’s not too late to save some of the world’s coral reefs.

If the mother has Hep B (often an asymptotic carrier) transmission to the newborn is as high as 90%. Disease ranges from liver failure to asymptomatic carrier with life long risk of liver cancer. The vaccine at birth and when needed immune globulin is extremely effective in preventing transmission.

Importantly, the alternatives to acetaminophen are much riskier for the mother and fetus. NSAIDS (ibuprofen) and aspirin carry risks of fetal kidney injury, premature closure of the ductus arteriosis (very bad for fetus) and bleeding. Opiates can create dependency in the mother and the fetus/newborn

My kids learned this in 6th grade science. Most species reach an equilibrium with birth rate and death rate matching and stabilizing the population. Species that keep growing unchecked eventually suffer a catastrophic loss of population once resources are exhausted. Hi Humans!!!!

Hmmmmm, someone needs to explain to me then how my rooftop solar still gives me a credit balance (the power company owes me money) mid-summer with the AC running daily.

I lived in Japan for three years and drove its roads. There is no way on God’s green earth these will sell!

Is it me, or does his carapace look like a clown face staring back at us?! Possibly a purposeful design to fool predators to think it’s looking at them.

Please don’t lump us all together. It is the current administration that is turning their backs on you. There are many of us who are 100% with Ukraine. We understand that you are fighting for all of us and are bravely standing in the way of Putin’s goal to seize back ex-soviet territories.

For the Republicans who are against this bill but afraid of being primaried in the midterms by MAGA. Here’s the response: primary me and I run as Independent, thus splitting the conservative vote and flipping the seat Democratic. Call the primary bluff, then vote against this abomination of a bill.

Time for congress to legislate all ice agents in proper uniform, proper badges, no masks. Who the heck knows who these people are. They are in street clothes, faces obscured and wearing gear any prepper can get at any army navy surplus store. Withhold funding until DHS complies!

I left NJ in 1988 to head to California on Navy orders. My mother’s friend stated as I drove off, “He’s never coming back” He wasn’t wrong! Still here and still loving it!

If now is not the time to file articles of impeachment, when is?

Amen to that, I get my daily dose of happiness from these posts. Please keep making us smile

What a beautiful fish. Our Black Sea Bass in SoCal are similar. Like the giant Florida groupers, they were also almost fished out. They have been protected for the past few decades, but recovery is so slow. One of my life privileges was seeing 5 on one dive in Catalina.
