Looks like a good IPv6 day on campus today.

As is the case most days, IPv6 traffic continues to be more than double the IPv4 traffic.

In this graph of the past 24 hours, the lighter blue is incoming traffic over IPv6 and the darker blue is incoming IPv4 traffic.

You know it’s windy out when you are riding slightly down hill, doing 290 watts, and only 10mph.

Look at all that #ipv6 traffic! Seems like we have less and less IPv4 traffic every day.

I think Cloudflare radar is telling me that web browsers on our network are using #ipv6 90% of the time? Or is it that 90% of our clients have working IPv6 networking? Either way, I'd rather it was closer to 100%. :)

Just another typical #ipv6 heavy day here at a small dual stacked college in the US.

IPv6 traffic being generally double that of IPv4.

First day of classes here at a small college and #ipv6 is being used for the majority of the traffic as usual.

Dark blue is incoming IPv4 traffic, lighter blue is incoming IPv6 traffic.

Basically every user device on our network is dual stacked.

What?!? Digicert is removing support for #ipv6 ?

Upon further reading, they state that they are moving to a CDN and must remove support for IPv6 addresses.

What CDN does not support IPv6 these days?

Not that I use DigiCert anyway, but I don't like seeing […]

Hello, On January 10, 2025, at 08:00 MST (15:00 UTC), DigiCert is moving to new dedicated IPv4 addresses and removing support for IPV6 addresses. Action may be required if you or your customers use allowlists. If you or your customers use allowlists, you need to update your firewalls to allow outbound connectivity to the new IPv4 addresses before January 10. Otherwise, you may experience disruption to your certificate verification process. See DigiCert Certificate Status IP Addresses to see the new IPv4 addresses.
