If you like RTS games I would highly recommend checking out Tempest Rising. It is the spiritual successor to the old Command & Conquer games.

Like I said, it not something I have seen. Maybe it was common back in "retro" times.
It just doesn't make sense to me why they would start with 0. You wouldn't write 0100 ohm?
If that 4th band is tolerance it could be 100ohm 2%. 2% isn't all that common either, at least these days :)

I have never heard of any resistors starting with black (0), but if that is indeed the correct colors it would be 0 1 2 00 so 1.2k ohm.
