Attruby (acoramidis) approved for cardiomyopathy

#FDA approved Attruby (acoramidis) to treat adults with cardiomyopathy associated with transthyretin-mediated amyloidosis. My best generic pronunciation guess is Ah-koe-AM-id-is. I will post pronunciations for new drugs.

Florida's Plan to Import Drugs from Canada Goes Nowhere

No surprise here. Canada wants states in the US to refrain from importing drugs. That might lead to shortages in Canada or, worse yet, drug companies raising prices in Canada.

Oral Phenylephrine (eg, Sudafed PE) is ineffective.

I have worked for 20 years to get this ineffective OTC oral, nasal decongestant off the market. Recently FDA proposed to remove it from the market.
