Unfortunately, according to the latest schedules, the new EuroCity trains SAXONIA and VIA REGIA between Leipzig and Kraków (extending to Przemyśl) will not include a dining car.

Preliminary timetable data for the all-new Eurocity service Leipzig-Krakow(-Przemysl) from December 2025.
This PKP Intercity service has two daily roundtrips and travels via Riesa, Elsterwerda, Ruhland, Hoyerswerda, Horka, Wegliniec, Wroclaw, and Katowice.

The Retro Istria Express Train no. D1280 Rijeka-Budapest is a rather complex operation:
- 5 different locomotives (4 changes);
- 2 through car group changes in Postojna and Pragersko;
- 1 change of direction in Ukk;

Due to engineering work on the Kuty-Břeclav Main Line, the Budapest-Berlin HUNGARIA Eurocity train is rerouted via the Holíč nad Moravou to Hodonín branch line no. 129C. This line, typically not in use, crosses the Morava River, which forms the border Slovakia/Czechia.

EuroCity train EC 172, traveling from Budapest to Berlin, crosses the Gohrischheide in Northern Saxony along the Jüterbog-Röderau Line. This electrified, double-track section between Falkenberg and Riesa is typically not served by passenger trains.

The Székesfehérvár - Celldömölk Main Line is closed for engineering works, hence, our RETRO ISTRIA EXPRESS train Rijeka-Budapest must change directions here in Ukk. We are hauled by MAV-START's 418 324 diesel locomotive.
