British detective about to solve a mystery Santa is a candle that’s probably not even 2” tall. His hands are resting in his back and he’s about to reveal the inner workings of something sinister—you can tell bc his lips are pursed and his dark eyebrows are very stern.

8) Bangs-Era Santa
Bangs-era Santa is really similar to Hittin the Nog Santa, but his face is much more delightful, as his eyes are promising and full of hope. What’s especially fantastic about him are his bangs, which are parted on either side and really showcasing his glow.

7) Hittin-the-Nog Santa
Hitting the nog Santa is about 12 inches and rings a bell like Salvation Army Santas. His head is giant and he has a curly beard and somewhat villainesque mustache and a side eye and very very red cheeks that make it clear that he’s been visiting the drink table more than everybody else.

These kids today Santa is about 13 inches and used to have some kind of robotic function. He’s holding a long scroll of naughty and nice list names but looks just generally disconcerted with the lack of drive in today’s youth.

5) Bleeding-from-the-Eyes Santa
Bleeding from the eyes Santa is actually a 2”plastic pick like you would put into a wreath, but he’s placed in a Styrofoam vignette. He looks like he’s bleeding blue ink from his eyes.

4) Cheerleader Santa
Lil gay Santa is actually a girly candle and he is sitting at top of sleigh with his legs crossed and his tiny little boots and his hat is all tilted to the side and he is faded red so he’s more pink and just looking sassy as fuck. In front is a smaller figurine that looks like it’s doing mid air splits. It’s maybe 1 inch.

Questionable decision Santa is ceramic, and he is posing by his bag of presents atop a chimney. However, he has his finger raised to his lips, not in a shhh way, but in a really coy or coquettish way. He is clearly not to be trusted.

Sitting in judgment Santa is from the 50s or 60s and is about 12 inches. His body is soft and bends at the knees, but his face is hard plastic and he’s looking at you as if he is extremely disappointed.

Times are dark, so here’s a thread of #eccentricsantas I’ve thrifted and placed in the guest room where my nephew’s staying when he comes for Xmas.

1) Eyeliner Santa
The eccentric Santa’s really began with Eyeliner Santa. He’s about 13 inches tall and his beard is like 4 inches. He has a red robe underneath and a green robe and hood over the top that we added glitter paint to and ceramic roses all around—so he is pretty fabulous.
