Oh, I bet. Usually, about 300 meters into the swim is the breaking point. Mind you that’s swimming race pace. I can see how snorkeling would never quite get you up to operating temperatures.

Yeah, that's pushing it. My last Tri was in 58 degree water, with several rips and tears in my old suit, hence the new purchase. Now I have to sign up for a race to motivate me to get my fat ass back in shape.

Just got a new Roka Tri wetsuit this week. Thinking it's gonna be next spring before I get an open water test run in. We got 8 inches of snow over the Thanksgiving weekend.
