I understand the energy of this post, especially since it seems there are issues that media finds to be "black-centric", but could you give me an example of a non-black tv show or movie that does exactly what you're describing?

One of the things I love about Stop Making Sense is the seemingly endless energy David Byrne has during the show. It was only a matter of time before someone made it into a workout routine!

I know I'm a bit late in replying, but it's from The Plight Before Christmas (Season 13 Episode 10). It's such an emotional episode and the use of Mishima at the climax is soooo good! I promise you won't be disappointed!

Reich is great but I owe it to Glass working on Mishima (both the movie soundtrack and the Bob's Burgers rendition) to even know who these two were in the first place.

As someone currently writing a script for their own show, I'd really be interested in what the second option could teach me.
