Yeah apparently these city days are only valid for the year they issued unless there's something like this. We just had Boston declare Feb 12 North End Curling Club Day, and *technically* it's only valid this year but we're celebrating every year from now on

They're great for eyes, little control panels, swabbing off washes/panel liner/weathering oil etc. Used them on this TIE Fighter kit, and it was very satisfying

Alright - I think this #Marasai is as done as it's gonna get. Learned a LOT with this practice model, the skirt panels are backwards because I put the damage on the wrong side hah. Very happy with the overall result though! #Gunpla #Gundam #Zaku

Added some battle damage to the Marasai to help sell the idea that the green pieces are newer replacement parts. #Gunpla #Gundam

One of my favorite underappreciated design choices in #Boston is the tunnel between the Green Line at Park St. to the Orange Line at Downtown Crossing (two subway tracks). While walking towards one or the other the pillars and ceiling are painted their respective colors
Walking from the Orange Line towards the Green Line, riders see a sea of green on the support beams facing them while walking down a concrete tunnel. Walking the opposite direction from the Green Line towards the Oranfe Line, riders see a sea of orange on the support beams facing them while walking down a concrete tunnel.

Watching All Is Bright, and aside from the sepia overlay, it is incredible. Also starring Sally Hawkins of Shape of Water - which I'm perpetually amazed won best picture.

Some better shots of the Marasai. Quite pleased with it, learned a lot, which was the objective. Getting better with the airbrush, which will help with pre-shading next time, and will sand down any parts that will be snug around joint pieces so the paint doesn't chip when it moves. #Gunpla #Gundam

Still have to do detailing, weathering, and some battle damage, but base coats and panel lining are done!

I couldn't decide whether to paint it proper colors or classic Zaku colors, so it's going to be like the arm and leg have been replaced with parts from another damaged mobile suit
