Been reeling all week. Veritable slave catchers activated, freezing of the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ, stopping EEO, and more. I can only afford a few more days to be sad. My pen has much to say. My voice is my strength.

Anyone who ever again suggests that the GOP is the party of the police or the party of law and order should be laughed out of the room. There has never been anything like this before in modern US history: the president pardoning people who we all saw on live TV assaulting police.

“On Day 1, Trump Declares War on Migrants, Mexico, and the Constitution”

Trump, writes Zeteo’s @premthakker.bsky.social, marked being ‘dictator-for-a-day’ flanked by four of the richest people on Earth – one of whom appeared to do a Nazi salute.

The media is failing you.
Across the TV news landscape, coverage of Trump's inauguration was soft.

Networks almost entirely avoided using terms like "twice-impeached" or "convicted felon." On CNN, neither term was used a single time, per a search of closed captioning.

Best thing our allies can remember: if you stand up to Trump you intimidate him and he will back down. If you crawl to him (like his sycophantic politicians) he will not respect you and will eventually throw you under the bus.

Donald Trump's birthright citizenship executive order is unconstitutional and must be invalidated. If you were born in America, you are a citizen. It's what the Constitution says, no matter what Trump does.

Donald Trump is trying to rename the Gulf of Mexico to distract you from the fact that he can’t lower egg prices, pardoned 1,500 insurrectionists, and rolled back policies that reduced prescription drug costs.

Don’t let him.
