ain’t that always the way of the world for those bad rep defenders. used to call this the matt bonner rule back when i wrote stuff. hope you’re well old friend.

i appreciate harper having the wisdom to adjustments and simplify his passes, slow down, and get closer to the rim to get the yips out.

yeah 100%. also the supermarket set didn't really feel like a modern supermarket, either. it was sort of weird. vibes were just off.

the reboot was pretty bad. my wife loves supermarket sweep as much or more than she loves me and she found the reboot pretty bleh. leslie jones was not a very good fit for it, and the contestants seemed wildly unprepared for even very basic sweep protocol

72: chris livingston (MIL, $2.3/1y) -- i have no opinions about chris livingston. sorry, chris livingston stans. livingstans?

71: bradley beal (LAC, $11/2y) -- on this kind of contract, beal's a worthy bet to take. not a top-three-star kind of player, but he is still a relatively good scorer and a decent enough rebounder. harden/beal/djj/kawhi/zubac is a very solid starting five; if they're healthy, they're good!

he is, i think. especially with murph/zion's respective injury history. gotta imagine the pels are going to have to trade pieces around to get this to a true contender, too; a good contract for an awesome connective defender will go a long way towards building a really good team.

70: isaiah jackson (IND, $21/3y) -- jackson's solid, and very young. i mildly question letting turner go to duck the tax only to lightly overpay his 24 year old backup who has never been durable enough to play more than 10-15 minutes per game. but it's "fine." $7m/year is cheap money now, somehow.

69: herb jones (NOP, $68/3y) -- after an offseason of confusing moves, pels get a good one. herb is awesome, an electric defender to watch and the one guy on the pels who seems to really get after it and give a shit. no matter what chaos surrounds him, fans will be glad to have herb there.
