Just now on my way through Riverside swaths of traffic failed to GTFO the way of an ambulance that was blaring its horn multiple times at offenders who just would not move. This cost the ambulance at least 45 - 60 seconds of time as I watched this unfold. @mayordeegan.bsky.social please evaluate.

It looks like it’s been picking up speed over the last 2 weeks but a lot of the folks I like to follow still have not come over.

If player safety is paramount to the NFL then I expect sweeping changes this offseason.

With the current rules and lack of rules I believe that sliding in the NFL is perhaps the MOST dangerous move a player can make at this level. Look at all of the QBs that have been blasted in the head during a slide. I hope someone will cut up a highlight reel. But the rules must be more clear.

Hopefully allow the player to slide safely. You’re not giving up extra yards because the player is down at the start of the slide or wherever the butt first lands according to current NFL rules.
