I think people see the insane out of bounds stuff you can do very easily and assume the game doesn't function but you have to go out of your way to do any of that. Most people aren't going to walk into a seam in delfino plaza and fall through the floor.

People talk about this game like it's a buggy mess but a buggy mario game is about as buggy as the most polished game in any other franchise.

Most people have friends they would like to continue to talk to on social media, it's almost like that's the point.

Darumi's VA seriously deserves some awards for that performance. She just gets better as the game goes on. Best voice acting I've heard in years.

I really try not to be a dick about dubs but kyoshika english is just so bad... I still played on english because darumi/eito/hiruko are so good, but every time kyoshika talked I physically recoiled

Yeah it's too much. I think it's fine in some games (my favorite game of all time is paper mario ttyd), but most games don't need it at all. I don't usually want to be focusing all my energy on hitting parry timings when I'm playing a turn based game.

I don't really think it's surprising. Yink is super boring and kind of a pain to fight because he's much faster. Link is pretty exploitable but sometimes he just fucking gets you in a way that is so stupid that you can't help but laugh.

I think it's honestly because that move is so ridiculous you just have to laugh. The sourspot semispike seems like an actual oversight it's so stupid.

I can't express how depressing it is to not be able to scroll idlely through art and just think "that looks good" or "cute style" and instead have to first mentally process whether it's ai, check the artist bio, etc. It takes all the enjoyment out of it.
