Adults can make that choice, children and teens do not have the information neccesary to navigate this modern advertising/surveillance state.

I think they should prevent children including young teens from social media. It is beyond immoral considering they are being mined for data about their preferences and other aspects of their being and activity in the world that will follow them the rest of their lives.
