Wonderous Winter Weather
[Sprites by Cj-the-Creator and Princess-Muffins] Gordon and Rebecca were double-heading the express together when it started to snow. Gordon, of course, complained about this, to which Rebecca voiced her enthusiasm. Gordon then bluntly voiced his opinion on another express engine on the island. Again, Rebecca managed to put a positive spin on it. She even capped her response off with a compliment, something that really threw Gordon for a loop.

Wintertime Worries
[Sprites by Cj-the-Creator, Princess-Muffins, and Myself] Hermes met Bloomer at Knapford Junction, and quickly took notice of how uneasy the older engine looked. After some pressing, Bloomer confessed that his concerns came from the falling snow. He began listing all the dangers the cold tended to provide, which Hermes quickly brought to a halt. The small engine then reminded Bloomer that the flakes of snow were just that - tiny droplets of frozen water. With a plough, he argued, Bloomer ought to be fine - especially with so little snow. Bloomer managed a brave smille, but he still didn't quite seem convinced as he set off into the falling snow.

Ever the Optimist
[Sprites by Cj-the-Creator, Princess-Muffins, and Myself] James brought his final coal delivery into Vicarstown Station for the staff to use before bringing the rest into the yard for the town proper. As he waited, the stationmaster informed him that he wouldn't be able to return to Tidmouth before the next morning. James was distraught at the idea of spending Christmas night alone in Vicarstown's Shed. Once the stationmaster left, Rebecca set about attempting to lift James's spirits by reminding him that he'd managed to bring a coal train in despite the bad weather, and how much good that'd do for Vicarstown's residents - especially with worse weather on the way. Though that helped a little, James was still miserable about being alone on Christmas night. That was, until Rebecca revealed that he wouldn't be - Rebecca was spending the night there as well. As it turned out, her last stop had been Vicarstown. As it turned out, neither one would have to be alone on Christmas.

Unhelpful Stances
[Sprites by Cj-the-Creator, Princess-Muffins, and Myself] Still uncertain about the situation regarding Ballahoo Tunnels, Edward sought to take his mind off of it by talking with Frederick, one of the Ex-W&SR engines. Unfortunately, Frederick wasn't much of a talker, only ever engaging in conversation when his work may be impeded - which brought Edward right back to the topic he was trying to avoid. Edward also took notice of a big green engine he'd never seen before - and right after he and Lady Abigail had talked about the only green engines on the railway being Whiff and the White Elephant - both being engines Mr. Hatt held a disdain for.....
