1/4 of all FBI agents have been assigned to immigration enforcement which means they have less time to dedicate to national security, white-collar crime and corporate malfeasance. But, of course that was the point, not be able to investigate corporations or Trump family crimes.

I agree and have argued for single payer/Medicare for all, for over 30 years. Having worked with insurance companies, their job is solely to make profits by denying care. They serve no purpose. The government could hire claims processors. CMS essentially does underwriting for Medicare already.

This is why Americans pay more for healthcare and get less than any other country. The for-profit middlemen provide no value to patients or doctors; they just add bureaucracy and reap the profits. Universal healthcare costs less, eliminates bureaucracy, provides better care, and saves doctor's time.

Pam Bondi said there were no charges against Tom Homan b/c there was no evidence of wrong doing. He took a paper bag full of money for future favors. They dismissed charges before he started his job & there is a good chance he has made good on those favors but we will never know.

Pam Bondi is vile. She had a binder of talking points for each Democrat. You cd see her thumbing through it to find the right page. She evaded their questions & instead read Stephen Miller's talking points. The fact she took bribes from Trump in Fla should have disqualified her.

Of course Pam Bondi refused to talk about Tom Holman accepting a bribe. She accepted a $25,000 political donation, aka a bribe, from Donald Trump's foundation in 2013 and then killed a lawsuit against Trump University. Her job at the time? Florida Attorney General.

Egg prices went up last year due to bird flu and coffee prices were up due to drought. Those were things Joe Biden could do nothing about but Trump promised to bring down prices. I would have said he failed but we know he didn't even try. Why? Because he never really cared.

The 7 largest U.S. health insurers earned a record $71.3B in profits in 2024 despite rising medical costs and increased utilization. Those profits could have gone towards health care and insuring the uninsured. That is who Republicans are fighting for.

I'm old enough to remember when raids like the one "ICE" perpetuated on that apt bldg in Chicago (i.e., Waco, Philly MOVE bomb, Ruby Ridge, etc.)would not only be breaking news in real time and on cable for days, but also lead story on ABC, CBS & NBC newscasts.

Legacy media is an embarrassment. 😳
