40-something male with a career, family, and strong opinions. Really just another Twitter refugee like the rest of you (but please don’t construe anything I say on here with a modicum of anonymity as attorney advertising or legal advice)!
No shrimp yet!

You forgot about the ESPYs

I’m blocked by whoever you shared from 😂

I’m still incredibly sad about how many of our fellow Jews voted for him because they thought he’d be “better for Israel.” Between his own words, and his German ancestry, I have no doubt who he would’ve sided with in WWII

We need the second coming of Jimmy Carter. All the progressivism but with all the veneer and charm of a southern evangelical

Are you sure this relative doesn’t mean *per egg*?

Thank you for being a smart Jewish voice against the worst impulses of Trump, Netanyahu, and the modern day Kahanists

Disagree. October 7 was an intelligence and border security failure. The army was off protecting settlers in the West Bank and inadequately secured the Gaza border. Preventing another 10/7 didn’t require destroying all of Gaza

Don’t speak that name. I went to that game and had blissfully repressed that fact

I went to 6/7 games of that World Series (all but Game 3). Game 5 will never stop traumatizing me. And I’m furious that Carlos Beltran is looking like a HoF inevitability. He got a dirty ring at the end of his career. The writers are fucking up by not acting like he made a legacy-defining choice

That’s different than acquiescing to Hamas demands. And it’s not like these same Israeli leaders didn’t give Hamas money when it furthered their goal of politically fracturing Gaza and West Bank Palestinians. Hamas being really shitty doesn’t make the current Israeli regime any less shitty

Israel accepted the same terms that were on the table last spring. Netanyahu dicked around for months on end and only did the inevitable at a time when it could only help Trump (and not Biden) politically. The only realistic way of bringing the hostages home is by overpaying Hamas in a deal

Israel sacrificing the hostages and other Jewish civilians—including non-Israeli Jews—kills any argument that its existence in its current form is necessary for Jews to be safe. Israel’s treatment of non-Jews threatens Jewish safety more than Hamas ever could

It’s not that we don’t give a shit about Israeli civilians. It’s Israel who doesn’t give a shit about them. If it did, it would’ve extracted the hostages a long time ago and would have no thoughts of resuming this war until every single hostage is returned

Let’s see if we make it through the next four years without a MLB team signing him. His comeback would certainly be emblematic of our current hellscape, but rad if we could avoid it

There is one rule that usually holds - whichever team makes the fewest mistakes wins
