In my weekly psych sessions, I’m learning to be kinder to that younger version of myself. Getting reminded that lil me did matter and isn't a tool. I'm a human being.

When I was younger, my family didn’t have much. I often had to share the few 'gifts'. To make things worse, I had to share everything with my sister and she didn't shared anything in return 🙃

This made me feel like my wishes didn't matter. That my existence is just an after thought..
