Update for Kathy & Jen @jencoleslaw.bsky.social @kazurcher.bsky.social -we had Aldi tiramisu for dessert last night. My shame is that when digging through the freezer I found one with a 2024 date-still ate it-still delicious. The top layer had slightly suffered from age in texture, but not in taste.

Gigi is transitioning from guest to member of the family! She's been a gem, with few flaws, we love her and she really needs some stability and permanence.
Introducing Gigi! We've been dogless since sadly losing Jasper to an emergency medical situation nearly a year ago. She is an open-ended dogsitting guest. Long messy story but we may have her two weeks or two months. She is very sweet & we are getting to know her. Our first time having a pitty mix.

@jencoleslaw.bsky.social Sometime in the past year I think we discussed my biscotti pan. I bought it intending to use it for 2023 baking and I didn't. I used it this morning for the first time. Here it is before the cutting & second baking. New recipe too - failure risks all around for this endeavor

This was not stocked in the same area as the rest of the holiday/seasonal/X-mas beers and I think that some marketing person needs to be disciplined for that decision. I did not buy this, though I would definitely drink it. I just saw it and think it's probably the best beer to buy in December.

Do I gladly pay 3x the price that a can of store brand sweetened condensed milk costs so that I have the convenience of easy drizzling? Hell yes! I love this packaging and used it for the first time last year and kicked myself for not trying it sooner.
