It is too challenging, and too rich, a statement to just be on our money.

We should also darn-well seek to understand...and struggle until we do...this difficult parable of Jesus. Like much of what Jesus teaches, it is both encouraging and
terrifying...can I approach Him in eternity saying I spent my earthly sojourn working to see His kingdom come?

In this case, and like (almost certainly) all of us, there is a mixed legacy left behind, and we are probably wisest to gently and graciously dissect the good and transcendent from the expedient and temporal in the words, actions and life of any individual.

Agreed. The dangerous trend in recent decades is to conflate the political with the religious, where the latter absolutely cannot be separated from the former. One may inform the other, but they must inherently be separate, and the transcendent ultimately triumphs over the temporal.

Agree 100%. The celebration of cruelty.

At least the numbers are dropping. Among the sane. The high scores for "what he believes in" are pretty accurate as "malignant narcissistic self-interested vengeance" is his guiding principle. I'll give him that one.

As this case likely becomes more tragic this will be the person who made it rise to the public's consciousness. Cold comfort now, but I pray it leads to justice somehow, and that some company that appreciates an ethical employee will reward him. So awful all around.
