Hadn’t heard that… I did it for a number of years, and moderated some of the forums online. Shame, but hopefully people can find a way to do their own version.

I’m sorry you had to experience the assault or this man today, but I am glad that Julie was around to help check on you after ❤️

I want to respect and support, but resent being bullied into wearing one. That’s not what they fought for, surely.

Are there any of those “repair donated bikes for resale” near you/her? I think the one near me is called Ride On. And they do occasionally have tricycles. Plus cheaper budget.

I’ve been plugging your book to anyone who’ll listen! Genuinely loved reading it, and can’t wait for the second one. I need more Great Aunt Decima in my life ❤️

Won’t specify where, but it involves unrealistic workload, a scatty manager I struggled to get time with (and I was her assistant) who made me full on sob so much once that I felt physically ill after.

📖 134) Bournville - Jonathan Coe. Set in the Birmingham suburb, this shows a family at various points in history.

📖 133) Broken Ghosts - J. D. Oswald. A standalone departure from his usual detective crime series, and I found this slightly different to what I was expecting from the blurb.

📖 132) Murder in the Soho Graveyard - Emily Organ. Enjoyable historical crime book, first but not the last I would read by this author!

📖 131) A Long Winter - Colm Tóibín. Thankfully short, as dear Lord this was boring. Nothing happened. Ticked a square of on the library bingo card though.

📖 127) The Ending Writes Itself - Evelyn Clarke. Writers invited to an island to finish a famous dead author’s book, but they all start dying one by one… loads of hype about this in the summer, and speculation about who the two authors were behind Evelyn Clarke. It was… OK as a book.
