I was so lucky to see it in theatre, and I can confirm that it put me on a different course for a few months at that age. I’m also 38 lol
The Anne rice vampire universe is great.

Hell yea, kinda surprised this didn’t pop up on your radar earlier.
Game is fun, but OST is top notch!
I’ve only seen him live 3 times. But it’s so stellar!
You ever peep his web comic from like 2004?

Chemical brothers are top top top tier.
I haven’t seen them live since 2007… and it’s been a life goal to do it again.
They set standards, and influence everything electronica.

As a fan who enjoys retro handhelds and music production, I’m very excited to see what you do with the K.O. II EP-133. I’ve had mine for over a year and it’s so much fun. Hope you get into more music equipment.
Should check out the Dirtywave M8 tracker.

Ever since your video on “fake games” it’s been something in the back of my head and one of the most inspiring things to keep me motivated to keep making art, writing, producing music.
As a full time working father I might not meet your deadline but, hell yea I’m gunna try!
Excited for other entries

Hell yea. I’ve been playing it, but was worried about how much content is there. Glad you enjoyed your time! Gunna keep playing for sure!

Not trying to argue against you, just looking for thoughtful examples. I see hybrid console handhelds being a large part moving forward. But for me personally, how we interact and feel the “art” within the game is what will make games stand the test of time.
January 16, 2025 at 6:39 PM
Would you argue then that novels and other written media has run out of ideas?
Am I confusing your statement on increase of hardware, centered in fidelity and performance. Or do you mean, true innovation in how we Use the hardware? Like, motion controls, AR, VR?
January 16, 2025 at 6:37 PM
What I was trying to say is. Boring hardware, is just the means to express what we participate in.
Rant over, sorry to take up your time.
January 16, 2025 at 5:17 PM
No other medium allows us to combine all our senses into how we experience art.
Audio, video, story. How we move in the game.
Mouthwashing was great narrative, but what the game does with its controls, and telling the player to interact with the medium was what most recently made me find hope.
January 16, 2025 at 5:15 PM
I can relate to your worries. But I look back and what’s always mattered was what experiences we find in the software (games) what we decide to play is what’s important. And having more innovative ways to show off gameplay, or narrative through gameplay. Is where we will push forward.

I like videos I “might not like” it challenges me to see new perspectives.
That being said. Metaphor is a good time. Glad you got to play it.
