As TN State Rep Justin Jones reminds us, our elders and ancestors in the fight for equality were fighting for us.
Now, it is our job to fight for the next generation and the generations to come after that. Join the fight in your community.

As the Official Opposition, we are using our power in the legislature every single day to strengthen Ontario.

We won't back down until Bill 5 is scrapped entirely.

Thanks @jannarden.bsky.social for your post (on that other platform) of your Mom and her friends.
I was a teen when my aunt Shirley (Varcoe) passed. My memory always associated her with cancer.
I am replacing that memory with your post: smiling, laughing and spending time with friends - thank you. 🙂

Donald Trump, who is now defending you.

Elon Musk, who endorsed you.

I hit the car radio scan button at the first hint of a commercial or listener phone-in segment (*cringe*) - but I'll be on Boom 99.7 while near #Ottawa March 1st to listen to Canadian artists.

If you're voting today I urge you to look at your riding's history. Is there a stronghold and what is each candidate bringing? If you live in Ottawa-Vanier with a 54 year liberal hold, voting ndp is not splitting the vote imho. Having a strong opposition makes sense. @myriamdjilane.bsky.social ftw.

As I struggle once again with trying to decide how to vote in the upcoming Ontario provincial election, I can't help but think "there's got to be a better way".
Wikipedia has some good information on different election systems, and then I found www.fairvote.ca - so joined that as a start.
Fair Vote Canada - Proportional Representation
Fair Vote Canada is a national citizens' campaign for proportional representation. 30% of the vote should equal 30% of the seats. Make Every Vote Count!
