They’ve been using AI animated stuff for the Olympics broadcast and it’s killing me. It’s not just NBC using it, Italy decided to use it in the opening ceremony as well! Crazy given how much cool design and art has come out of the Olympics over the years

And obviously some of this is brought to the forefront given the state of things in the country I live and the ever omnipresent seasonal depression. But this stuff has always been there and I don’t particularly know how to deal with it at this point. I don’t know, shits just tough at the moment

Like, at some point I guess you start to act like the fact that you’ve contemplated suicide in some form everyday for like 20 years is normal when it’s not. And it’s not like it’s this super strong urge, it’s just this pestering thought in the back of your head that never goes away.
