Got around to building a rolling timber storage rack. Nothing fancy just build from scrap pine and OSB. Should really help with workshop organisation. I’m amazed how much it holds - 8x4 sheets at the back, timber offcuts at the front and strip wood on the middle shelves. #workshop #woodworking

Finally finished the wardrobe build. Still a second coat of wax needed. Hopefully won’t be working with any more pine for a while. This was quite challenging in my small workshop. I also had to make a level base to build it on as my floor is so uneven.

Wardrobe door panels glued up then raised panel machined with art deco style cutter. Dry-assembled the doors and all good. Need to pre-finish the panels before glue-up. The end of this build is now in sight. Very impressed with the Infinity Tools cutters, great quality and sharp. #woodworking

Door frames cut, machined, and cope-and-stick moulded. Dry assembled and checked for square. Next to glue up some panels and raise them with this bad boy! #woodwork #woodworking #workshop

A little more work done. Almost finished the top. All went fairly smoothly - the knot at the top of the cornice bugs me, but didn’t want to buy more timber. Also had a 2” brad nail try to do a U-turn! I can easily hide that though. #woodworking

Started on the top of the wardrobe. I got bored at this point when drawing up the plans, so I’m making this bit up as I go along! One of this pics shows me experimenting with the moulding profile. It’s been a good place to use up some of the knotty timber, where it won’t be seen. #woodworking

After a bit of a break, back to work on the wardrobe. Back panel now complete. Decided to attach it to the sides using half moon washers and metal cross dowels - invisible from the front and sides, strong, and easy to disassemble. #woodworking

I don’t know why I waited so long to get these MFT hole covers. Love my holey workbench but hate the sawdust that falls through the holes - especially when routing. A little fiddly to remove, but a small screwdriver does the trick. #woodwoking #workbench

Current project. A wardrobe for a family house-warming present. Hard to stay motivated with this one - issues getting decent joinery grade pine to work with in my locality. It all has to knock down to get up a very narrow staircase. Now making the back panel. Getting there… slowly! #woodworking

Looking back through some old pics. This one made me laugh - marked out and cut a set of dovetails the wrong way round! Turned out ok in the end, Made from salvages sapele and olive ash (I think) and lined with pig skin.
