Hey Jeff, no one is talking about the need to hold back some draft capital to replace Dak in what, 2029? Should the boy's push the '27 Packer's 1st to later to have something to use for a trade up for a QB? Dak's great now, but the contract runs through '28, what do you think?

All the talk about trading for players this year I think is off the mark. They just beat a team without their QB and top three WRs.

Revel hasn’t done anything for a year and hasn’t had any NFL practice.

If I delete it, I can access the '.mp3' file on the server. Is there a description of this feature sitting around somewhere?

Thx

Hey Landon, have you heard the song Schottenheimer Polka? I couldn't make this up, it's on YouTube. It's old, about Marty, but funny.

He later bought a surplus mainframe line printer, I don't know the manufacturer. He loaded up a box of 132-column paper, powered it up and the printer immediately spewed out the full box of paper all over his garage. Seemed to get stuck on a line feed command, had to scrap it later.

Hey Ken,

I worked with an engineer at Mostek in the very early 1980s. One day he showed up in my office with a kit of parts to build a reverse engineered Apple II clone. I was just out of school, the $300 price was a bit steep for me. I really wish I had bought one. Worked great for Visicalc.

Henry “Hank” Laporte is the son of the very long time technology journalist Leo Laporte, one of the first podcasters, main guy on the old TechTV network, radio host, etc. In the early days of Twitter, Leo had the most followers. I want one of Hank’s sandwiches from his restaurant.

Know who is Salt Hank’s father?

They hired Flus because they knew him. I’m sure Jerry the GM didn’t evaluate the roster to see what players fit the scheme. Remember when Parcells didn’t even try to install his scheme his first year?

I just watched a conversation between Michael Irvin and Troy Aikman. They talked a lot about Jimmy, he was the driving force. I have no interest in the Netflix doc, it has Jerry in it.

Question: How do LLMs help when you need to use an external library, especially licensing issues?

In the good old days, a lot of web services allowed post by email. Even that feature allows someone to use a friendly email app or something like emacs.

Now, we just use AI to create a post and hope it's not too silly.

The Browns have what 6 QBs under contract? The old saying about if you have 2 QBs you have none needs updating.

And they can delay the big check a year or two, the real money might be advantageous.

But bad mouthing your best players and the silly idea they players can't have agents is incredibly stupid. This will come back to haunt them.

Folks talk about how the Boys lose big time by waiting, but they don't talk numbers. If they pay an extra $5M a year, the total is $20M. With void years, say 4, the cap hit is $2.5M a year, it they want. Given the risk, a player could get injured or simply flame out, this isn't all that bad.

Hey Rob, imagine Micah not playing in Philly and the Boys get blown out. Not a good look.

I’m so happy that Dave has escaped Fox is now is working with serious, well prepared pros. I’ve enjoyed Dave since he was wet behind the ears covering the Cowboys, he worked hard to get where he’s at.

I hope you are allowed to appear on the new Broaddus gig. Maybe he could be a guest on your podcast.
