Ah, this dude's about to take 10 minutes to make some coffee in a beaker.

Nice, Mike is about to sit in the dark eating pistachios until dawn.

Okay, Carol is doing a whole montage doublechecking if truth serum works.

It's the DNA of his style but it does kind of lose its zing after awhile.

There was a point maybe by the 2nd or 3rd season of Breaking Bad where you could feel a full-on Vince Gilligan scene starting to rear its head, similar to how you start to realize that you're going to have to puke within the next 15 minutes.

Love following NSC because it’s my boys but I find it otherwise impossible to get behind anything broadly FIFA. Such a joke.

I was jaded about pop culture well before it was released but I think that song’s popularity was truly the nail in the coffin for me.

Like it's basically "A Velvet Glove Cast In Iron" rewritten for a character who uses Google.

I thought Hamglider’s best days were behind them but this year’s effort was a true surprise. Props to Hamglider.

Maybe!

Idk. The more I keep seeing this thing pop up I'm not even sure what Parker is saying in his post. Is he actually saying Behn is the elites? I do think we'd be in better shape if this sort of vapid podcast episode didn't exist.

okay but again, a big swath if not the majority of her actual constituency feels the same way about the tourism she was specifically talking about. was it a misstep? sure. do we need to fret over if she's somehow anti-city? come on, man.

I think the sentiment though is that the hand wringing over it is a bit much is all. On top of that, the current house reps are all people from outside the city who clearly hate the city anyway.

Yeah I get it. Don’t disagree.

The original premise is that politicians don’t know how to handle a candidate who’s vocally not a fan of surface-level Nashville tourism identity while in reality much if not most of its residents feel the same way. It’s not specifically a policy question.
November 30, 2025 at 3:15 PM
It’s not an either/or scenario. You can still have healthy tourism and yet find a balance that promotes normal ways of life for actual residents of the city. Nashville is uniquely lopsided in its focus on utterly goofball tourism fantasies, and it sucks.

If one of the features of the software is that it potentially installs malware on your PC, then that software is itself malware.

This is why all my solo recordings sound like a modem.

Fwiw a lot of McD’s are soulless self-serve kiosk huts now, so there’s plenty not to love about them.

Fwiw my middle class midwestern family still pounds fast food with pride.
