We sold one of our businesses to a US based company.It & our designs which are now being built in China,are now owned by Toyota.Until the Aussie banks focus on supporting growth in small business,as opposed to making money on credit cards & mortgages, small business will continue to struggle. IMAO.

Yeah, BUT… We had 2 engineering factories for 40 years,near Ford in Melbourne.We weren’t reliant upon them for business, although we did do work for them. We had an engineering brotherhood in the area.Now, there are 2 companies left in that area.The small jobbing shops, foundries are all gone.
