I realize there are special cases but my browser reads .pdf files just fine and all of my apps let me print or save to .pdf without ever needing Acrobat. I haven't had it installed for years and I suspect more people could painlessly do the same.

I'm super uncomfortable buying from the newly popped-up lot of resellers. Some appear to be opening them up, activating them outside the US or using a VPN, and then selling them for a 25% markup. Unfortunately still cheaper than non-China offerings.

For a second there I thought you were talking about Apple. I think when you're the absolute best around you can afford to throw your weight around. Even factoring in DJI forced obsolescence there isn't anything off the shelf that's better or cheaper.

Print to pdf has been built-in on all platforms for more than a decade now so don't even get me started.

The incentive is for the govt to stop pooping on its workers. If you pay the workers during the shutdown then there's no incentive to stop the shutdown. If govt officials don't care that they're pooping on the workers then get rid of the govt officials. Everything should be at a grinding halt now.

There's a certain type of person that ceases to exist if they have nobody to impose their will upon. If we just completely ignored him for two weeks, he would go away. Like zero media coverage, zero retweets, zero exposure at all.

I remember Biden releasing that report in December 2024 and then Trump re-releasing the exact same information the following January and accusing Biden of withholding it.
