A simple and easy dessert. Layer cookies and pudding into small bowls. In a saucepan, melt the candies down into a syrup, then drizzle over each bowl of cookies and pudding. Chill in the fridge, then serve.

Combine cream cheese with powdered sugar, spread on vanilla wafers, add raspberry preserves, and enjoy a delicious miniature dessert!

A simple side dish, glazed carrots, is easy to make with dollar store frozen carrots and brown sugar.

Food stamps are accepted at my local Dollar Tree, so this might be an additional benefit to anyone who has limited funds for food each month. Always check your local dollar store if you are receiving food stamps. Just a little tip for you all!

I live near a Dollar Tree, so Dollar Tree ingredients for family meals will feature the most prominently on my Bluesky. I will still try my best to access Dollar General and Family Dollar whenever I can find locations in my area.

I hope I can prove over time that making meals from dollar store ingredients needn't be seen as horrible and tasteless. I believe tasty, nutritious meals can be made without costing a fortune. Considering the direction our country is going, saving money will be a great benefit.
