Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki has inspired me too, it’s why I prefer female protagonists in stories

What ghibli movies are. you can’t just make it look like the style and have your monsters be horrible monsters and go commit war crimes for your game or story. Then it seems like you are using the aesthetic to drum up sales.
