@schumer.senate.gov Time to step aside and let someone who is willing to stand against the destruction of our country lead the Democratic party. You've abandoned us.

🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave.

Tell them:
1. Vote NO on Cloture
AND
2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill.

Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it.

TODAY is the showdown.

Mr. Cunha served Rhode Islanders honorably, and I am grateful for his principled dedication to the law.
INBOX: Rhode Island US Attorney Zach Cunha says he has resigned, effectively immediately, at the direction of President Trump

Cunha also says he'd already tendered a letter of resignation and had intended to step down by the end of the week

Republicans aren’t hiding anything. Their priorities are written in black and white: trillions of dollars in tax breaks to the rich, while making savage cuts to Medicaid, housing, nutrition and education. The reconciliation bill will make the rich even richer and the poor poorer.

His administration is literally composed of men who beat and batter women.
Trump: "My administration will not stand by and watch men beat and batter female athletes. And it's gonna end, and it's ending right now, and nobody is gonna be able to do a damn thing about it, because when I speak, we speak with authority."

NOAA is a vital public asset that should never be privatized. #KeeptheDogeKidsAway
Losing NOAA would be devastating. Project 2025 authors want to get rid of it because it monitors climate change, and privatize the information it currently provides for free, so you'll have to buy information about the weather and the winds (imperative for mariners).
I have covered NOAA and it’s work for like 15 years and this is brutal. If you’re there and want to chat or share anything, signal is davelevitan.26

I have had conversations with people who voted for Trump & we agree on ONE thing: get money out of politics. We must become a party of grassroots campaigns & reject money from corporations & super PACs. We must repeal Citizens United & we must stop insider trading.
