There is nothing stopping OpenAI or another AI company from training on the text or images you post on Bluesky. Bluesky doesn't need to give them permission to do this. The open nature of Bluesky means that everything you post is public and can easily be processed by any company that wishes to do so

I see a lot of people here don't like the idea of AI being used/trained on the content they post. Well... everything you post on Bluesky is public by default and easily ingestable by software.

The only way to avoid this is to move to a different social network.
