Wrote a poem after losing a 1v1 with the photocopier.
Spoiler: the copier won.

But honestly? Sometimes it’s not the machine that’s jammed — it’s me rushing, juggling, trying to do it all.
This is for every teacher who’s been there.

We all carry an invisible weight—more than most people ever realise.

Monday started perfectly—20 new glue sticks lined up in the tray.
By 10:30 a.m.? Gone. All of them. 😅

A Sticky Situation — a poem for anyone who’s ever lost a whole lesson’s worth of stationery.

This one’s about that moment — the pause before honesty, when your heart races and your mouth goes dry.

I wrote this after my operation — about fear, surrender, and the quiet peace that came when I realised I was never really alone.
Sometimes faith whispers loudest when the world goes silent.

Just finished Adolescence on Netflix. As a dad of two boys, it hit hard. Social media, pressure, pain—it’s all there. Made me reflect on how I show up for my kids. If you’re a parent or coach, watch it. Then ask: how are we raising our boys to feel and connect?
