Been a great month for gaming!

Citizen Sleeper 2 is a triumph. A immaculate follow up to one of my favorite games of all time! If you have not played I cannot recommend enough!

Reading Lonesome Dove makes me want to walk like a cowboy, talk like a cowboy and shoot like a cowboy but alas I’m a chubby 37 year old dad lying on my couch in a snuggy.

Finished Stoner by John Williams yesterday. Still pondering it and still devastated by it. The beauty and melancholy of the book’s prose is stuck in my heart like a thorn; one that may never be removed.

As someone whose loved videos games for twenty plus years and watched the incredible ways the median has grown; immersion is more and more of something I desire in games.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 has me feeling like a kid again, lost in a dark, brutal yet beautiful world. Can’t recommend highly enough!

In absolute awe of this book. I don’t know if ever felt so inside of soul of a character as do with John Stoner. His melancholy is mine. About halfway through and tryin to savor every bit of this.
Who else is reading or has read this masterpiece? Any similar recommendations?
