also walton goggins is showing he can carry as a main character here. ella purnell is great but her character isnt very engaging in the way that walton’s is

i still the show is relatively mid overall but you can enjoy mid tv shows easy, and season 2 just works better in every way imo

also s1 suffered from every single character you meet being stupid, annoying, or both. The games have characters like this, but theyre spread out between believable, more down to earth characters.

s2 learned from s1’s mistakes and toned it down a bit, or at least gave realistic characters more time
