We're pushing for 15-20 hours of weekly rehab, but public healthcare only covers about 7 between physical and cognitive/speech.

Bills are still coming, plus all the extra care expenses we're having and will have for accessibility aids, and we're on literally no income and low savings.

A detailed update:

Dad had a double stroke that looked pretty serious. His wife was fired for taking days off to take care of him. I booked it across the country to help out.

He'll be better in a month or two, but will need a lot of work and help, he has pretty severe aphasia and limb paralysis.

Got a family medical emergency across the country so I need to travel ASAP. It's a 8 hour ride I can't take my rig with.

Was debating whether or not to post this but uhhh this Wednesday my apartment partially flooded due to a lithium battery fire on the floor above me. Unfortunately renter's insurance won't cover more than one meal and since they consider my apt "habitable" I have to work/eat/sleep with loud-ass fans

Thankfully I'm currently at a spot where I can technically afford this right now, but I'll definitely be short for other payments after the fact, so better post now than later. I'm expecting having to hand out around 450-500€ in the next few days, which is what I make in 2-3 months currently.

Unsolicited & unhelpful guide on how /I/ personally paint and draw blood (in art mediums)!! (alt. text included.)

An unhelpful guide on how OP (hugo) draws blood in his art (including any other creative mediums that he works with.) The following text goes from arrow to arrow, accompanied with visual examples on how to illustrate blood.

1. Make a blob. Trust the Process, because thats how you'll make splatters more.. splattery. (this is also dependant on what /you/ want.)

2. Use a soft eraser (similar to an airbrush) to clean it up a tiny bit.

3. Add Splashes. And Anything drippy. (dependant on what /YOU'RE/ working with.)

4. 4. Make use of the multiply layer and paint in details. Make sure the edges of the blood are lighter (or alternatively, copy the same layer,
clip mask, and carefully paint it with a darker colour.)

5. Add gloss to it! (and optionally adding cross hatching for texture.)
(GLOSS IS DEPENDANT ON LIGHTING.)

took me so long (since dawntrail dropped lmao) to get around to redoing the metallic gold scales that even looking significantly better now that they used to, im not even sure if i like them anymore or prefer the regular, plus already have another char with golden highlights...

the models are the same, the bones (and thus animation and physics are assumedly the same, even across different faces containing them), so im gonna assume there's some kdb fuckery going on with equipped ears # specifically (???)

someone tell me why this viera ears model that is (assumedly) the same across all ears # and is weighted to the same zerA bones becomes super wobbly only when it's on ears #1
