Rewatched Julie Dash's Daughters of the Dust yesterday. What a profoundly beautiful film. I definitely benefitted from repeat viewings. She had Arthur Jafa as DoP and 'the' Kerry James Marshall as Production Designer. #Film

Listened to Barack Obama's favourite music of the year list earlier... I think the word is sporadic

Something unpredictable about this match but I'll settle for 3 points #COYG

Sorry The Guardian but if Sinners is the 21st best film to come out at the cinema this year then what a great year we've had!

Speaking of great albums: relistened to Theophilus London's Bebey and it's surely one of the best albums of the decade (so far) give the man his flowers #Music

Hearing Jimmy Cliff singing Sitting Here in Limbo in Limbo impressing all the other inhabitants. The Harder They Come is just one of the best albums #Music #Reggae #JimmyCliff

Just heard the world has lost Pam Hogg. I was working at a London Fashion Week that hosted her show and it continues to be a major inspiration for me. The fact that she seemed an all around cool human being makes this loss even harder. #RestInPeace #PamHogg #Thanks

I think Thomas Frank knows who Eze is now. As if we needed any further motivation #COYG

I suspect part of the reason Trumpelstiltskin and New York as a whole have responded so well to Zohran Mamdani is because (other than his policies, which are excellent) his name, like Puerto Rico's, is so fun to say!

Good performance from Arsenal women without the killer instinct in front of goal. Great to see Chloe Kelly

We must keep Jamaica in the news and in our hearts and actions.

What's happening there right now in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa is nothing short of a humanitarian emergency and it requires an immediate international aid response.

Would be Virigil Abloh's 45th birthday today, it's also Thunderbirds Day. That's double Virgil, we need an international holiday and a Virgil vigil!

Strong enough lineup. I really feel like we have the beating of this Newcastle team. Just need to remove the handbrake today. Come on you gunners!
The Arsenal line-up to take on Newcastle United at St James’ Park this afternoon…

Eberechi Eze, Bukayo Saka and Viktor Gyokeres all start.

A must win game. Let’s do this…

Thoughts on the line-up?
