Has anyone asked her if she requires her family present? Most of all...every clip I've seen this week, he's standing in the capital. How long does it take to administer an oath, maybe five minutes?

If he's standing there, in the capital building, why can't he just swear her in. I can't imagine it taking more than a couple of minutes.

Is there some law that states she has to be sworn in by this person? I thought since she was legally elected by the voters, a swearing in is only a ceremony. If it is law, couldn't anyone already sworn in or a minority leader do it?
