If this year taught us anything, it's that:

1) Workers keep America going, not billionaires.
2) Corporate profits don't trickle down to workers.
3) Poverty is a policy choice.
4) Health care is a human right.
5) Strikes work.

I hope we act on these lessons in the new year.

Up late last night, Trump falsely suggested presidential elections are not exclusively based on the Electoral College.

A stunning display demonstrating a lack of basic Constitutional understanding.

Remember this the next time a billionaire says they want to get rid of the CFPB.
More than 4 million people to share $1.8 billion in refunds, the CFPB says. Here's what to know.
Payments to victims of Lexington Law and CreditRepair.com are the largest yet by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Today in 1955, the Montgomery Bus Boycott began, after Rosa Parks’ arrest for refusing to give up her seat on a bus.

Black leaders organized carpools, and taxi drivers supported by charging bus fare prices.

The boycott ended on Dec. 21, 1956, with buses integrated.
