Had the best run of Marvel Rivals ever. Nine matches and eight wins. Went from Silver 3 to Gold 3 in that time. Incredible time. I also garnered a reputation, apparently! Someone saw my name and decided that's why they lost.

For those not in the know, REC is a 2007 found-footage zombie movie from Spain and absolutely honks. It makes the most out of the found footage format and its jump scares aren't just cheap shocks. I love this movie, but fair warning that it gets gory.

The plan for the next campaign is to run through the Fists of the Ruby Phoenix adventure path. We'll be getting together for session 0 in a few weeks and I'm particularly excited to run an AP that includes an adventure I wrote for the first time. It's gonna be fun!

Abomination Vaults marks the 11th adventure path that I've completed (8 as GM, 3 as a player) and is the first of the three-part APs I've completed. It was a fun time, and I'm super excited to get back into the GM seat for the next one!

Kent was also kind enough to give me his initial sketches for Chusko. These included studies of the Hispaniolan hutia, a species of rat native to Haiti and the Dominican Republic. I imagined Chusko hailed from the Arcadian equivalent of the Carribean and landed on hutias as the basis for his look!

After 10 levels of play, he made it through the depths of the Gauntlight and came out succesful. He only went down once! Chusko was a fun guy to play and while I'm sad to wrap things up with him, I've enjoyed my time playing him and look forward to GMing the group's next campaign!

Chusko's from a large family of other ratfolk and originally was a harrower. This connection to the harrow was likely the source for his psychic abilities (though I never took the time to sort out that aspect of his background). Overall, he was just a nice guy who wanted to help folks!

Tonight marked the end of our Abomination Vaults campaign! I played Chusko, a ratfolk psychic.
