Located in the northeast U.S, Zone 7b. Working towards a horticulture certificate. Bringing plant knowledge to the masses. Primarily focused on plants native to eastern North America for now, but I’m always learning!

While they’re in the same family as fleabane (Asteraceae), panicled aster has fewer, slightly larger petals per flower head than fleabane. Also, fleabane blooms in late spring through early summer while panicled aster blooms from late summer to early fall.
