It's cool in that I love CCC but it's probably not good that SD get stuck playing a two-legged series weeks before the MLS season starts. Not as bad as the CPL teams I suppose.

You can honestly take it at your own pace. They're releasing content so quickly I wouldn't worry about being late, you'll soon catch up. I like competing but I'm f2p so I set my expectations accordingly. If you do play, feel free to add me and ask to join our club when you get there.

I grew up in a Mandarin speaking household and in my head I always translated this as add gas or fuel, which makes a little more sense to me personally

Yeah it covers the first 2 or 3 TCG sets, which were pretty straightforward cards.

A lot of people probably don't perceive the sort of leap in technology between the 7th generation and today. The difference between a PS5 and PS3 is nothing compared to the difference between a PS3 and a NES. Game design has changed but that's harder to measure.

I haven't played in a few years myself but the interface never changed. It looks silly in the face of Arena but it's got a ton of things Arena doesn't have

Are your favorite games all recent or not? I think we have a lot less mid-sized or AA games nowadays. You might want something with more production value but a smaller scope. It's also genre dependent too. There are genres that don't really work at the indie level and genres that are oversaturated.
